ELMC Annual Holiday
31st May to 7 June 2008
This year the ELMC Comforts Fund Committee organised the Annual Holiday, part of a traditional programme of events during the year, for 31 May to 7 June to the Ambassador Hotel, Llandudno.
Sixty one widows and Brethren of the Province attended the holiday along with the ELMC Manager Mrs Julie Ward and her husband Charles.
The group met at Middleton Masonic Hall where a buffet lunch and wine was provided prior to the departure to Llandudno. A special thanks to Philip Price, the Oldham District Chairman, for his assistance.
During the week the guests were treated to a days outing, on Wednesday 4 June, to Chester. Lunch was provided at the Crabwall Manor House, a magnificent Grade II listed building dating back to 1660 set in 11-acre grounds on the outskirts of Chester.

On Saturday 7 June we returned to Middleton Masonic Hall for a light lunch before saying our goodbyes until the next time we meet in September for the Autumn Outing
The holiday was enjoyed immensely by all who attended and all the guests expressed their gratitude for the care and compassion shown to them by the Charity. East Lancashire is the only Province which provides such social activities for which the Brethren of East Lancashire should justifiably be proud of.
