ELMC Annual Holiday
30th May to 6th June 09
The ELMC Comforts Fund Committee arranged for this year’s Annual Holiday to take place at the Clifton Park Hotel, St Annes on Sea:

The Annual Holiday is part of a traditional programme of events which takes place during the year.
Sixty four widows and Brethren of the Province attended the holiday along with the ELMC Manager Mrs Julie Ward and her husband Charles.
The group met at Middleton Masonic Hall where a buffet lunch and wine was provided prior to the departure. Philip Price, the Oldham District Chairman, was present to lend a hand; many thanks Philip!
On Wednesday 3 June our guests were treated to a days outing to the Graythwaite Manor Hotel, Grange for lunch, with beautiful views overlooking Morecambe Bay and the hills beyond. After lunch we set off for Bowness for an Island Cruise.
On Saturday 6 June we returned to Middleton Masonic Hall for a light lunch before saying our goodbyes until the next time we meet in September for the Autumn Outing
The holiday was certainly the ‘best yet’. The weather was superb, the food, facilities and staff at the hotel were fantastic and the company was brilliant!

All who attended the holiday expressed their gratitude for the care and compassion shown to them by the Charity. East Lancashire is the only Province that provides such events for which the Brethren of East Lancashire should justifiably be proud of.
