Beechwood Cancer Care January 2010
Manchester and Salford Freemasons and their wives visited Beechwood Cancer Care Centre to view the refurbished room that their Star Appeal donation of £1650 paid for. This came after an application was made to the ELMC Community Fund for support.
The Star appeal gives companies and individuals the chance to sponsor a room that will then be refurbished and named in their honour. Stars are priced at £500 for a Bronze Star, £1000 for a Silver Star and £1500 for a Gold Star.

Salford’s chairman Rod Ward said, “We not only donate our money to worthy causes in the community, but our Provincial Grand Master wishes us to be actively involved in charity work. These donations reflect the work of many years by our Brother Mike Walker.”
