Last December the Jumbles Sailing Club, based at the Jumbles Reservoir in North Bolton, made an application to the ELMC Grant Making Committee for a contribution towards the cost of installing a new jetty. This application was made through the Bolton District Charity Steward, Bob Findley, and resulted in a grant of £1000 towards the cost.
As can be seen in the picture above the jetty has now been installed ready for the start of the sailing season when national events can be hosted.
