Tottington is being cared for by the ELMC

Several months ago the ELMC made a donation of £7,000 to enable the Tea Rooms at the Tottington Centre to open, and we can now proudly announce that on the 1stNovember, the Tea Rooms were officially opened for business.

The Tottington Centre is housed in the old Tottington Town Hall and municipal library. It is a community-based library, run by the community, for the community.  It is a welcoming place where people of all ages can come together to socialise, be creative, source information, read, take part in learning, and have fun.

Now, thanks to the generosity of the ELMC, anyone can drop in for a cuppa and a bite to eat.  There is a sign on the windowsill of the tea room, acknowledging the donation by the ELMC, which has been in a prominent place since the library opened earlier this year.  On looking through the window, one can see Tottington Bowling Club which also received a grant from ELMC last year.  If you are in Tottington and fancy a cuppa or want to play bowls, you will be able to do so thanks to the generosity of the ELMC.

If you have a good cause that you would like to ask ELMC to support, speak to your Lodge, Chapter, or District Charity Steward.
