The sun was shining for Pilkington Lodge’s Bro Neil Campbell and his wife Alwyn when the District Charity Steward Steve Clark delivered the first prize in the District Dinner Raffle – £500 in cash. Just like the gentleman that he is, Neil allowed Alwyn to open the envelope containing the cash and he then announced “Alwyn, we are going on holiday!”
This is not the first occasion that Pilkington Lodge has scooped the first prize in recent. It is only two years ago that another member of Pilkington Lodge walked away with the first prize.
