What a fantastic day Nellie had celebrating her 100th birthday on Wednesday 23rd September, what a remarkable lady!
Firstly, being entertained by the wonderful Poppy Holiday and enjoying songs from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, taking her back to the good old days. Followed by a fabulous performance by Katie Fiddlestix performing on the violin!
Nellie had a ball, as did all the other Residents.
To finish off the celebrations, Nellie was presented with her birthday card from the Queen and gifts and cards from Family, Residents and staff, not forgetting her birthday cake.
What a wonderful day for a wonderful lady!
