Rochdale District Freemasons Make The Connection

A grant of £1,289 from East Lancashire Masonic Charities has helped Rochdale Connections Trust expand their much-needed services. Rochdale District Freemasons secured the grant to help with the refurbishment of Connections premises on Drake Street. The Trust can now expand their services and support more people who are most in need.

Rochdale District Charity Steward John Taylor said “The Connections Trust can now expand their services to more of those most vulnerable in our community and I am delighted we have been able to support them.”

Doug Smith the District Chairman added “Rochdale Connections Trust really do deliver fantastic support to those most in need, their services are excellent and reach out to those who need them the most.”

Chief Executive, Kathy Thomas said “We were fortunate to receive funding from The Clothworker’s Foundation and the National Lottery for renovations to the building and simply cannot thank the East Lancashire Freemason’s enough for their generosity in donating £1,289 to furnish the area and increase our service offer to the most vulnerable members of our local community.”
